Meet Snuffleupagus! This adorable mutt came to us from a shelter and is ready to find his forever home. Unfortunately, he’s been overlooked simply because he’s a boy—but he’s an absolute gem!

Snuffleupagus is well-mannered, well-behaved, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small. While we’re not sure how he is with cats or small children, he’s proven to be a sweet and sociable companion to other pups.

At just under a year old, Snuffleupagus is a mix of dachshund and (we think!) terrier. He’s a perfect little size at 14-15 pounds, making him an ideal buddy for snuggles and adventures alike.

If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion to complete your family, Snuffleupagus is your guy! Could you be the family he’s been waiting for?

Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed. Adoption fee is $350.00

We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things. We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.

Tails of Rescue in Kahoots is a volunteer based, non profit, 501c3 organization that literally saves dogs and cats from shelters euthanasia list. We pull animals from our local shelters we to try to reduce the number of unwanted animals locally. Tails of Rescue in Kahoots is a shelterless rescue (foster based), but animals are in the store daily. We rely on the generosity of our volunteers and foster families to provide short- and long-term care and rehabilitation for our rescues until they can be placed with their forever families.

Our shelter operates solely on your generous donations and the proceeds from in Kahoots. Please consider helping our cause. 100% of your donation will provide food, supplies, and medical care. We don't have any paid employees, only amazing volunteers!
