Name: Nike Best Guess for Breed: Lab and terrier mix
Best Guess for Age: 5 months as of January 2025 SEX: Male
Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 26 lbs as of 1/21/25
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen Nike with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.
Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here!
Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.
Nike is Looking For: His forever home! This big ol' cutie is in the tail end of puppyhood and and still has all that puppy love for play and snuggles and more play! He hasn't seen nearly enough of the world and is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved for all his days.

What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster.
Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!
