Meet Dylan, a sweet and shy 11-month-old dog who’s looking for a family to call his own. He’s a gentle soul with a heart full of love, although it does take him a little time to trust new people. Dylan may not be the most outgoing dog at first, but his love language is clear when you offer him something yummy. It’s like his way of saying, “I’m warming up to you.” Dylan may not be the loudest or most flashy dog at the shelter, but he’s the one who will quietly melt your heart with his gentle, sweet demeanor. Could you be the one to offer this adorable guy the forever home he deserves?

Shelby Humane is an open intake facility in Shelby County Alabama. SH takes in over 5000 animals a year. We provide an adoption program, low-cost spay/neuter program, and low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics throughout the County. In 2018, we launched Shelby SafePet, which provides veterinary care and boarding to pets of domestic violence victims.
