Elias is a neutered male long-haired gray tabby, born on July 23, 2024. He is a ball of affection, enjoys lap time and his fur is as soft as it looks! Since he was rescued from outside, he is a little apprehensive at first but is very quick to warm up to people. I will continue to work with him, as he waits for his forever home. Elias enjoys exploring his new indoor surroundings and is getting accustomed to life indoors. He is a beautiful, sweet boy, with such an adorable face! I am enjoying being his foster! The adoption fee is $200. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to:

Rutherford County Humane Society is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving Rutherford County since 1979, with the mission to significantly improve the lives of unwanted and neglected animals, and to measurably decrease this number through our spay and neuter programs, volunteer foster homes, and outreach and education. We are an independent organization that works in collaboration with other area animal advocacy groups. All of our efforts depend on our passionately compassionate volunteers, and financial support from the community.
