Meet Mercy. Mercy has had a hard go of it and she needs that special someone to show her the love and attention she deserves. She came to Southern Mutts in Mississippi with an eye missing and a dislocated jaw. However, all of those injuries did not make her bitter or angry. She is a loving and sweet dog. Her eye is completely healed and her jaw does not keep her from eating (trust me). Even with the eye and the jaw, she is not a special needs dog…she’s just a special dog. She is heart worm negative and ready to wink at you for the rest of her life.

He/she is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Send out approval with information on canine, need to electronically sign. Adoption agreement. Review all aspects of the adoption agreeement

Adoption donation accepted, welcome letter emailed with educational information to welcome your new dog home. Transport arranged

Take the Pet Home

Adopters receive all vetting documentation and a welcome home goodie bag for new fur friend

With many of these communities battling overpopulation, low local adoption rates and climbing medical bills, Northbound Rescue forms a partnership with these rescuers to assist them with medical care, fundraising, transport and rescue efforts in the Northeast.
