My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Cheeky. A sweet, loving young cat with an approximate birthdate of 09/16/2023 who is looking for her forever home. Cheeky came from a shelter environment with many cats and wants nothing more than a loving family to spoil her. She has the softest fur and soft meow but a very loud purr. Cheeky loves to be warm, so you have to be ok with sharing blankets and/or heat registers.

Cheeky currently lives with other cats and middle school aged kids and does great. She is not a fan of our dog so a home without one is a must for her. Cheeky’s favorite activities switch from lounging, eating and snuggling up in her favorite blanket. She also really enjoys chasing after cat toys when she has some energy and hoping for an open spot on the couch to snuggle up
on to stay warm. I would consider her low to mid energy. Whenever she is not being an inquisitive girl, she can be found snuggled up on a blanket or on the cat tree looking outside.

Cheeky’s ideal home would include humans that are able to spoil her and other cats if they aren’t overly playful. She would also do well as the only pet in the home. She is a very intelligent kitty who is impeccable at using the litter box and prefers horizontal scratching pads.

If you are looking for a beautiful, sweet new furry friend in yourlife, look no further. Cheeky would love to meet you.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Email is the best way to get a fast response (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com).
