My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Miss Maui was born as a solo kitten to a very young mom. While Moana did a great job of raising her baby, Maui never really got the lessons she needed in being a kitten from littermates. Now that she no longer needs mom, she's in a foster home and learning the social dynamics of being a cat. She's warming up to the other foster kittens, and has truly stolen the hearts of her foster family.

Maui is beautiful - her eyes sparkle and she looks at you like she can see right into your soul. She also has VELVET soft fur - you can always find someone here petting her and she can't get enough!

While she is taking her time building relationships with the other cats, she showed us right away that she likes dogs and absolutely loves human interaction. She wants to be in the middle of whatever you're doing and won't hesitate to sit down on your chest and rub up on your face. She is such a love! Maui also thinks the only place worth sleeping at night is with one of her people - so she would love a forever home where she can share your bed.

Maui can get slightly cranky when the other cats try to share her food, so we feed her by herself so she knows no one is going to steal her dinner. This seems to be helping her make friends more quickly as well. We would love to see Maui go home with fellow foster, Cotton. While they still are in the early stages of friendship, we think Cotton will help Maui adjust and they will become lifelong buddies!

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
