My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moana, really still a kitten herself, came to us with her solo baby, Maui. She did a wonderful job raising her, but now she wants to go back to carefree life as a young cat.

Motherhood has Moana slightly annoyed at other cats who don't understand personal space. She's working hard at being friendly again, but we've noticed she prefers the company of more mature, quiet natured cats who don't antagonize her all the time. She is happy to share space, and even food, with respectful feline friends.

This is totally opposite from her feelings on people though. Moana favors kids over adults and acts as a little protector, following the kids like a shadow and keeping an eye on them when they sleep. She is perfectly happy to be carried around and loved on by people all day long. She also has grown very comfortable with living with dogs.

Other than being pet, Moana's favorite activity is sitting at the sink and waiting for someone to turn on the water for her to play with. She does also drink from it too, so we think she'd love a cat fountain when she finds her home. Night time is her play time, but she is great about letting the people sleep while she plays in the quiet darkness downstairs, so no worries about her keeping you up!

Moana would do well in a home with one other cat who is respectful and quiet natured, but would love having lots of people to spoil her around the clock!

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.
