Meet the Pet
Take the Pet Home
- Busy guy who is interested in everything and loves keeping his mind and body active; he's ready to accompany you on all your adventures and will enjoy regular exercise and games where he can use his brain
- Loves playing with toys
- Knows sit and is very treat-focused, so positive reinforcement-based training will be great for him
- Loves walks and does best with a harness
- Tends to be a linebacker-style player with other dogs and can also be a bit socially awkward (dog intro required)
- Has had some intermittent lameness in one front leg with an unknown cause; X-rays showed no bone abnormalities, but it could be a previous tendon or ligament injury that may or may not cause issues in the future (more info at ARL)
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
