Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Chiron is a sweet, older female cat looking for her forever home. Born on January 6, 2017, she came to our shelter as a stray with a microchip, but unfortunately, no one ever came forward for her. Chiron was found outside in the cold and is now enjoying the warmth and comfort of a cozy bed and food at the shelter. But what she truly deserves is a loving home where she can receive the attention and care she craves.
Chiron is a calm, affectionate lap cat who loves being the center of attention. She would do best in a quiet home without other pets or children, as she prefers to be the sole focus of her people’s affection. If you`re looking for a sweet companion who will love you unconditionally, Chiron might be the perfect match for you!
She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready to meet her new family! If you think you could give Chiron the forever home she deserves, please head over to our website at eastshoreha.org to submit your application.
Come meet Chiron during our open cat viewing hours:
Monday: 12pm – 4pm Friday: 12pm – 5pm Saturday: 10am – 1pm Don`t wait—apply today and make Chiron`s dream of a loving forever home come true!

Additional adoption info
Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:
1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.
2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.
Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.
Adoption Requirements:
1. Have verifiable identification
2. Be at least 18 years of age
3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home
4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered
5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier
6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
