Meet Romeo, a 3 year old Alaskan Malamute mix. Romeo, a charming adult dog whose personality is as captivating as his name suggests. His sweet and friendly nature makes him a joy to be around, instantly lighting up any room with his presence. Romeo loves to play, his energy is infectious, and his favorite trick is to jump up in joy, a testament to his playful spirit. He`s looking for a loving home where he can share his happiness and zest for life. Adopting Romeo means gaining a loyal friend who will bring laughter, companionship, and endless love into your life.
Romeo will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don’t know how he will do with cats.

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
