Emmy is the perfect blend of energy, sweetness, and charm. This playful girl is happiest when she’s outdoors, running after her favorite toys, or playing fetch with her humans. Emmy is a natural explorer who thrives on fresh air and outdoor adventures. Her high energy is balanced by her eagerness to please, making her a fast learner. Emmy’s food motivation means training is both fun and rewarding for her—she’s always ready to impress with her smarts!
One of Emmy’s favorite pastimes is mental enrichment, and she lights up with activities like lick mats and pupsicles. These keep her engaged and entertained, offering her the stimulation she needs for a happy, well-rounded life. Emmy’s affectionate personality is one of her most endearing traits. She loves offering her paw as a gesture of connection, often leaving it there as if she’s holding hands with you. Her expressive face—capable of switching from an adorable “sad” look to a heartwarming smile—melts the hearts of everyone she meets. While she can be a little timid with new humans, Emmy warms up quickly with patience, gentle reassurance, and, of course, her favorite treats.
In her foster home, Emmy has shown herself to be a quiet, respectful, and loving companion. She’s house-trained and loves to burrow into blankets to make herself cozy. Her adorable snores as she drifts off to sleep are sure to make you smile. Emmy is crate-trained and happily relaxes in her crate during downtime or overnight. She’s also learning the “crate” command and is picking it up quickly thanks to her love for treats and praise.
When it’s time to play, Emmy comes alive with joy! Tug-of-war, fetch, and stuffy toys are her absolute favorites. Despite her love for play, Emmy also knows how to wind down. After a fun play session, she’s ready to snuggle up on the couch, showering her humans with hugs, kisses, and endless affection. Outdoors, Emmy enjoys leisurely walks, taking in the world around her. While she sometimes pulls when she catches an intriguing scent, she’s easily redirected and is working hard to improve her leash manners. Emmy already knows commands like “sit” and “paw” and is working on “off” to keep all four paws on the ground when she gets excited. Her quick learning and eager-to-please nature make her a joy to train.
Emmy is also an excellent passenger in the car. She’s confident getting in and out of vehicles and enjoys the ride, calmly taking in the sights as you travel. Emmy al
