Meet Leroy – your future furry best friend!

Leroy is a wise and wonderful senior Chow with a heart full of love and a soul that’s as gentle as they come. He’s searching for a forever home where he can enjoy his golden years in comfort, surrounded by kindness and belly rubs! His estimated birthday is 9/29/2014.

This distinguished gentleman is potty trained, though he may have an occasional accident here and there – but who doesn’t? Leroy is a social butterfly who adores everyone he meets, from adults to children, greeting them with a soft sniff and a hopeful wag for a pat on the head. He’s also met cats and finds them quite intriguing but prefers to keep things polite with just a few sniffs. With other dogs, Leroy is perfectly content to mind his own business – he’s all about staying in his lane!

When it comes to food, Leroy is highly motivated (you’ve got treats? He’s your best friend!). And despite his age, he’s a well-mannered house guest – no chewing, no destruction, and completely trustworthy when left to roam freely at home.

Leroy does have a bit of arthritis and prefers to take things at a slower pace, but he’s still eager to follow you around and be part of your day. After each meal, he has an adorable habit of licking his paws like he’s cleaning up after a fine dining experience – it’s the cutest thing you’ll ever see!

If Leroy had a dream job, he'd be a librarian, quietly observing the world with a calm demeanor and a wise twinkle in his eye.

Leroy is hard of hearing and seeing.

We do not have a brick-and-mortar location, all animals are in foster homes so meeting them isn’t possible. We can make video calls between our fosters and potential adopters before signing the adoption agreement.

WE SAYv ANIMALS.
SAYv Animal Organization is a startup animal welfare organization focused on gettings things done.
We have 2 permanent programs running right now, with the objective to increase our manpower and reach to create new programs including farm animals.
Solutions: We help other nonprofit organizations create and execute life-saving solutions and provide support for critical operational initiatives.
Rescue: We have officially started our rescue efforts!!

Unfortunately, since we are a start-up organization with limited funds we have to focus on perceived "easier" cases whenever we can, JUST UNTIL we get a solid financial base and network. We fully intend to help open-admission shelters save ALL at-risk animals, including the hard cases.
