Madison's story:
On 1/17, a litter of 3 female puppies were surrendered to our local shelter. We were heartbroken to see how malnourished these sisters were—they were all skin and bones, with sparse fur and swollen, distended bellies caused by malnutrition and parasites.
On their first day with us, our focus was on giving them love, small, frequent feedings, and helping them feel safe and secure. Since we’re expecting a cold snap, we decided to name them after chilly cities: Aspen, Brooklyn, and Madison. ❄️❄️❄️
Now, we’re already seeing signs of improvement! Their fur is softening and starting to thicken, and their bloated bellies are shrinking as they heal. Each one has her own unique personality, but all three are playful, snuggly, and love being held.
These sweet sisters are estimated to be about five weeks old at intake and are likely American Pit Bull Terriers or a mix of a similar breed.
With the right environment, they can thrive and bring so much joy to their families. Madison and her sisters will be available for adoption beginning February 8, 2025. Email Juliets House for additional pictures or information!

Our top priority is finding the perfect match between families and pets so that all of our rescued animals find a safe and loving home. We try to make our adoption process a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. At the same time, we pride ourselves on being as thorough as possible. This means that we take time to make sure the pet you're interested in is the right fit for your family. We will work with you to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. If there is more than one application for a pet, we will be upfront and let you know. Please be aware that we may make a home visit and/or contact your veterinarian before completing the adoption process. We may also contact your landlord if you rent an apartment or home. Our aim to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship for all of our animals and their new families.
