Scout is 2 years old and 35 pounds.
With his natural black and white tuxedo and his movie star smile, Scout is always up for a good adventure. He loves following a trail, climbing woodland hills, taking an easy stroll or a fun romp around the backyard with the resident dog. A fenced yard is recommended. Scout can play all day and then he curls up on a chair or couch and loves to cuddle. This bundle of happy energy is always content to simply be with his people.
For over a year Scout had his very own family but when they could no longer care for him, he was returned to the shelter where this sweet little guy quickly became everyone's favorite. Charming, playful, and so loveable, Scout is a loyal and devoted companion to his people and loves to play with other dogs. A companion dog in the home that enjoys a friendly tussle would be ideal. Scout makes friends with everyone and every dog, Scout knows a few basic commands, he's housebroken, neutered, crate and leash trained. He is able to be left open roam when you're away and has good house manners. Scout is up to date on all of his shots.
Everyone at the shelter loved Scout so much they could not play with him long enough or hold him close enough. They asked us to please find this magnificent guy the best home. If you think you can provide the best home and be the best family to Scout, please complete an application.
