Miss Peal is a twelve-year-old Chihuahua, weighing about ten pounds. Pearl is good with dogs, good with mature kids ten years old and older, and we have not tested Pearl with cats. Miss Pearl was brought into the Animal Shelter by her family who said, "we got a new dog." and she was very confused and scared! Once we rescued Pearl and put her into a foster home, we learned she has limited eyesight and hearing. She also had terrible dental pain that we addressed through dental surgery. Pearl is one of the most lovable seniors we have rescued. After years of neglect Pearl is finally feeling better, more secure, and is coming back to life. Miss Pearl just wants to be loved and cherished by a forever family through her golden years. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all of our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
