My story

Popeye is a one-year-old, thirty-five-pound, Bulldog and Boxer mix. Popeye is good with dogs, has not been tested with cats, and he is good with mature kids ten and over. We rescued Popeye from the shelter where he was a favorite among the staff. Popeye is still a puppy, is playful, cheerful, and amazingly easy going and relaxed. This soulful boy enjoys being close with dog buddies and his people. Popeye or a sociable companion for a single person, or a family. Apply at crisisdogsnc.org. We reply to completed applications only, not to calls, not to emails, not to instant or private Facebook messages. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer a fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.
