Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Maddie is a sweet and charming husky mix who loves to be outside or inside and play, sleep, run, and just be a dog. Maddie came to W&S with her sister, Liv, at six weeks old, just needing a place to call home while they grew strong and healthy.
During her time at the Sanctuary, Maddie has learned basic manners, including "sit" and is eager to learn more tricks. She is crate trained, potty trained, and a sweetheart of a dog. Our one request with Maddie is that she is adopted together with her sister, Liv. These two don't leave each others' sides often and they are happiest and healthiest when they are together.
Stats:
- 1-year-old female husky mix (dad was Alaskan Husky, mom was rumored to be a Pit mix)
- Up-to-date on all vaccines and preventatives, and is spayed
- Microchipped
- Loves to run and play outside with her sister and other dogs
- Shy and sweet, will gladly let other dogs take the lead
- Protective of her sister and other dog friends (not aggressive)
- Has learned that cats are friends, not food, but will still nose them roughly just in case that changes
- Crate trained (food, treats, bedtime, naptime, when humans are away)
- Potty trained
- Great with other dogs, cats, and people (after she warms up to them)
