My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Griselda – The Fun, Energetic Russian Blue You’ve Been Waiting For!

Griselda is a stunning young Russian Blue female, born on August 6, 2024, and she’s ready to leave the shelter behind and find a loving forever home. This playful and energetic girl is fully spayed and vetted, making her all set for adoption!

Griselda would thrive in a home with another feline friend. She loves the company of other cats, and we recommend adopting kittens in pairs to help them learn social cues and develop their personalities. Whether you have another cat or are thinking about adopting a pair, Griselda would fit in wonderfully!

If you’re ready to bring this gorgeous and fun-loving kitty into your life, head over to our website at eastshoreha.org to submit your application today. Once approved, we can facilitate same-day adoptions.

Come meet Griselda during our weekly open cat viewing hours:

Monday: 12pm – 4pm
Friday: 12pm – 5pm
Saturday: 10am – 1pm
Don’t wait—apply now to make Griselda a part of your family!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
