Introducing Luigi, a big-hearted dog who's extremely fond of treats. Although he found shelter life to be stressful and scary when he first came to us, Luigi has responded well to his anti-anxiety meds and is making excellent progress in getting comfortable with being handled. To assure that this progress continues, he needs a home where his training will be continued with patience and kindness. Luigi loves taking long, exploratory walks on which he uses his snoot to investigate everything in his path. If you're searching for a Very Good Boy for walks around the block or games of fetch at the park, Luigi wants to meet you!

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
