My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cookie (A137247) is an 11-month-old husky mix who weighed nearly 70 lbs at intake!

01/18/25 This comical pair of siblings are Cookie and Shaddow! These two were said to be husky and lab mixes, but given the variation between the two of them they could be a Heinz 57 mix of all kinds of breeds! These two were brought to the shelter due to no fault of their own. They have been together their whole lives, but they seem to do well separately on their own as well. These two love to play, but they can be rough at times. They were said to do well with babies and children, but they can sometimes be too rough with littles. Please use caution if introducing them into a home with little ones. They were also said to get along with other dogs, but they have no experience with other animals. Cookie and Shaddow have been known to jump fences, so they will need to be secured or supervised when outdoors. They were said to love being outside though! Both Cookie and Shaddow could stand to learn so manners, as they have been known to get into the trash and to jump up on counters when given the opportunity. They would both probably do great in basic obedience class with a certified trainer! They have also been known to chew, so make sure they have plenty of appropriate chew toys and enrichment to keep them occupied! If you are interested in meeting either Shaddow or Cookie, please give the shelter a call!January 29, 2025, 10:04 pm
