Hades is a 5 year old Mastiff mix weighing 75 lbs. He is current on his vaccinations, dewormed, and heartworm negative. He is MICROCHIPPED and NEUTERED!

Meet Hades, a charming canine with an old soul and fearless spirit. This fella may be a little older, but that just means he comes with the premium adoption package (potty trained, leash trained, & command trained) meaning he's not only sweet, but smart. Hades will be a breeze to live with due to his cuddly nature and laid back personality, paired along with his skills and wisdom only age can provide. His loyalty is unshakeable and his funny antics will keep you entertained. Although small animals are a no go for this guy, he has done great with the other shelter dogs his size and wouldn't mind sharing his home with furry companions. This loving dog is more than just a pet, he's a loyal friend, a confidante, and a source of endless joy. Adopt Hades and let him fill your life with love and laughter.

Hades' adoption fee is $60 and our hours are Monday through Friday, 11 to 4. We can be reached at 252-257-6137.

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Come by the shelter to meet our dogs and cats. Dogs can be taken to our outside play area for an off leash meet and greet.

2.
Sign Adoption Contract

Complete the paperwork agreeing to have the pet spayed or neutered within 60 if not already done and to keep the pet inside your home.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Take home your new family member!

Additional adoption info

We have a one page adoption contract, in which the adopter agrees to have the animal spayed/neutered within 2 months of the adoption. Our fees for adoption are $60 for dog/puppies and $50 for cats/kittens.
