My name is Periwinkle!

Peri is about 5 1/2 years old, and we rescued her 4 years ago. She and our other pup got along immediately and became fast friends. Our favorite Peri story is from when we were visiting our parents retirement community and she ran onto a nearby golf course. She decided to help out a few of the golfers and move their balls slightly closer to the hole.

Peri is full of love and energy, and we hope she finds another home that can give her the love she wants and deserves. She’s been having a hard time adjusting to life with our newborn, and the amount of training suggested by a trainer would not be realistic for us to maintain. We are heartbroken to say goodbye, but she’s not getting the attention she needs and the stress she’s facing is unfair to her.

Beyond that Peri is a wonderful dog and with the right family will thrive. She’s a little scared of loud noises and every once in a while will get protective over a special treat but beyond that she is full of love.
