Vasco recently arrived to an AHDR foster home and he is just so loving! It’s like he’s making up for all those months at the shelter where he didn’t have as much human attention. He is around 1.5-2 years old and weighs 52lbs.
Since arriving to his foster home he hasn’t had any accidents and has been great when crated. We are still learning about him so he has been crated overnight and sleeps quietly there. We suspect he would love to sleep close to his human and we don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t be able to do that very soon.
Vasco is dog friendly and hasn’t had any issues sharing things with the 3 resident dogs in his foster home. He would love a home with another playful dog or he could be an only to soak up all the love. He is a smart guy, and in less than a day he picked up going to the back door when he needs to go out. He is treat motivated and eager to be a good boy.
So far he has been very calm in the house and will happily entertain himself playing with toys. He loves to play fetch with the kiddo in his foster home. Vasco rides nicely in the car and is just a happy go lucky guy who is grateful to have been given the opportunity to leave shelter life behind.
We know it won’t take long for this special guy to find his perfect family! If you are interested in Vasco email us at almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com!
