My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoenix is a gorgeous, amber-eyed, shy and sweet, two-year-old, 13-pound, male buff tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.

Phoenix came into Friends of Petraits rescue when he was found eating with cats in an Andersonville feral colony. He wasn’t feral, just shy.

He appears well-behaved in the home and uses his litter box like a good boy. He loves his treats, playtime, and mealtime. While he’s reserved, he lets you pick him up and easily trim his nails. He loves being brushed and it lulls him into a closed eye happy state. He is chatty with a smokey little meow.

He is now neutered, de-wormed, neutered, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative, and microchipped.

To meet and possibly adopt Phoenix, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/

After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet him.

His adoption fee is $175 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He is currently being fostered in Chicago, Illinois.
