Sweet Sophia may play hard to get, but she’s really just a girl who knows what she wants. She will greet you at the door for pets, but will tell you when she’s had enough. Happy to spend the day in a windowsill, or lounging near by you, this girl appreciates quality downtime. While she values her lounge time, she will never turn down a sweet treat in the form of wet food or a crunch treat! Sophia is declawed in her front paws from her previous lives, but this doesn’t stop her from “hunting” her favorite toys and showing them to you. She would do best with adults, and as a solo pet, or with animals who do not mind a girl who knows what she wants.

Foster sibling: Maximus

Adoption fee: $150. Adoption fee for two kitties: $225

Sophia Maria is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for FIV/FeLK, and is microchipped.

We offer a Foster program for those who would like to provide a temporary home to one in need.

All older puppies (6 mos or more) and adults are fully vetted prior to adoption.

Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue is a NO KILL animal rescue dedicated to providing shelter and loving care (which includes food, veterinary care and any other necessity) for animals that were abused, abandoned, owner surrendered, or destined to be euthanized due to over-crowded shelter conditions. Through the use of foster homes, Proverbs will care for these animals until such time as a good, responsible, loving home can be found for all adoptable animals.
