Meet Bruno – A Journey of Transformation, Seeking a Adoptive Home

Bruno came into the Texas rescues lives two years ago, a shadow of the dog he is today. When Bruno arrived, he was terrified of life and everyone in it. They soon discovered the reason for his fear: Bruno had endured unimaginable hardships, from being tied to trees and shot at, to being beaten with a shovel. Humans had failed him, leaving him scared and traumatized.

But Bruno's story didn't end there. With time, patience, and love, he has blossomed into a beautiful, energetic dog who loves to run, explore, and play. Though he's no longer scared of us, he still takes a little while to warm up to new people. This brave boy is a 90-pound Mastiff mix with a heart of gold.

Bruno needs an adoptive home with someone who has experience with dogs that have been through trauma. He loves to run and hop around, but he still pulls on the leash when he's excited or frightened. We need someone strong enough to handle him and help him continue his journey to trust and happiness.

Despite his past, Bruno has not shown any aggression towards people or other dogs – only fear. He deserves a chance to learn that not all humans are bad and to experience the joy of a loving home.
