Adorable Mushu arrived from a high-kill shelter, bringing with him a blend of charm and intelligence. This long-legged chihuahua mix has a playful side that shines through his goofy antics. Mushu is just over a year old and weighing in at 22lbs. He’s friendly with dogs, cats, and even reptiles, making him a versatile companion. Currently honing his leash skills, he’s already mastered basic commands like sit and stay. Mushu loves splashing around at the dog beach and is a laid-back fellow who is gradually gaining confidence. He also enjoys cozying up in pajamas now and then. Could Mushu be the perfect sidekick you’ve been searching for?

Submit Application

Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

3.
Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
