This helps Happy Feet Pet Rescue with pet care costs.
Hi! I'm Indio! I'm new to this "rescued" thing, but I'm really excited to be living in a house with my foster family and on my way to finding my forever family. I really like people, and other dogs too!
I was told to share more details about me, so here you go! I think I'm a little over a year old, but time is funny for us dogs I'm about 35 lbs, so you could call me "fun sized". I walk nicely on a leash, I've done just fine on short car rides, I will sleep quietly in my kennel while you're away or when you're sleeping, though I definitely prefer to spend the night in bed with you, I've heard the people here say I seem "potty trained", whatever that means. I usually tell them when I want outside by sitting at the door, though I will probably need some reminders when I move in to my forever home. I'm a good coworker for the "work from home" people too because I don't have too much to say and have spent many a workday snoozing under the desk, right by my foster mom's feet. My foster family says that I have super soft fur and the prettiest eyes, and that I act kind of like a cat at times.
I'm living with another dog right now and I really love other dogs, though I can't play a lot right now because I'll be starting heartworm treatment soon. I'm still single and ready to mingle, just a low energy, high cuddle mingle. My heartworm treatment will be covered by the rescue too, so no need to worry about the cost for it.
I haven't seen a cat in a while, but as they were learning more about me at the shelter I came from they let me see one and I overhead them say I was a little too excited. I'd be open to meeting a cat again to see how it goes. I mean, like I said before, they tell me I'm cat like.
If you want to know any more, let me know! This is the first time I've written my forever family profile so I'm not sure if I missed anything!
