He's between 3 and 4 years old and about 35 pounds

So so smart. Knows a ton of commands

Has been in training with a master certified dog trainer

House, crate and leash trained

Great with dogs, cats and kids

Pub tested & everyone loves him

Good in public. Listens and follows commands well

We interview and do our home check through a virtual visit. We will also do a vet check and landlord check if needed

Approve Application

If they are adopting without having other pets we would then sign the contract and collect the adoption fee

Meet the Pet

This step is required if there are existing pets in the home.

We welcome applications about multiple pets. Our coordinators with match folks with a pet that will work well for them

Rusty’s Rescue Ranch is an animal shelter and rehabilitation facility. Our mission is to serve the community by accepting unadoptable and special needs animals and hiring ex-convicts and felons to build promising and prosperous futures. We are the ranch of second chances.

As those in the community help us to build this non-profit we hope to keep in mind three simple values in which our staff will work and live by. These three values are Honesty, Community, and Compassion.
