Dewey is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Dewey is a sweetheart. He's an indoor-only cat who is very social with people and generally laid back and easy-going. He's friendly and cuddly, and likes to spend evening sitting on laps while he naps. When Dewey wants pets, he will tap you with his paw. Dewey has been great with our 10-year-old child. He is friendly with our other cats. However, he is very anxious around our dog. We think he might be happiest being the only pet in the home. Dewey is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.
