A dazzling almost four-year-old German Shepherd/Boxer mix from Albuquerque, NM, whose vibrant personality shines as brightly as her red coat with a faint brindle pattern and a charming white patch on her chest. At 70 pounds of athletic grace, Gemma is a dynamic blend of playful energy and tender-hearted companionship. Oh, and she might just surprise you with her uncanny Chewbacca-like vocalizations—who needs a galaxy far, far away when you’ve got her?

Gemma is the ultimate adventure buddy! Whether she’s sprinting after a Chuckit ball, leaping to catch it mid-air, or diving into the water to fetch a stick, her enthusiasm for play is boundless. A large yard or rural property would be her dream space to thrive physically and mentally. But don’t let her high-energy antics fool you—Gemma is just as content snuggling up on the couch for some quality cuddle time or settling down with a bone for a well-earned nap.
