My name is Leia!

Leia is a spayed, five-year-old, 55-pound Alaskan Malamute and Border Collie Mix. She is crate trained as well as house trained. She is good with other dogs but is NOT good with cats. It is unknown how she is with kids. She is a very good alert and watch dog. She will let you bark to let you know there is someone or something amiss in your yard. She sleeps in a crate at night, but she can also sleep on your bed with you. She is people selective and is generally wary of men. She loves to run and play with other dogs, but I believe she could also do well in a household by herself. She knows “sit” but can’t quite get “stay” just yet. She is up to date on her vaccinations and her flea/tick/heartworm preventative medication. She does have some separation anxiety but only takes Trazodone as needed when I have to board her.
