My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello friend, I’m Bob! I’m a Labrador Retriever born in rescue in November of 2024. I’m ready to spend my life with you and give you all my love! I’m a curious boy always interested in whatever is happening around me. I want to be a part of whatever you do, even if that means being lazy and snuggling on the couch! Big fluffy blankets and snuggles are two of my favorite things! I aim to please and am very food/treat motivated. I enjoy learning new things and I catch on pretty quickly. So far, I know how to sit and am working on lying down. I have also been working on going into this scary cave my foster mom calls a kennel. I like to use my voice and protest because why do I have to go in there when everyone else is out there?! The kennel cave is starting to become less scary and I’m starting to take my naps in it with my blankie even though I would much prefer my nappies be in someone’s arms. I love to play....a lot!! I love things such as running around, tug of war, chew bones, and soft toys. My favorite thing to play is biting socks and feet but my foster family doesn’t enjoy it as much as I do.  There are 2 smaller humans here with me that I like to play with but they keep saying I bite too much. That’s the only way I know how to play but I’m learning to be gentler with the delicate humans.  I get sleepy pretty fast after playing and like to crawl into someone’s lap to snuggle and wind down. Sometimes my foster mom has to force me to take a nap though because I am having just too much fun and don’t want anything to happen while I'm snoozing! I have been working really hard on only going potty outside and I’d say I'm doing a pretty good job considering I freeze my booty off out there! There’s a furry creature that lives in my current home and my foster mom said he is a cat. He's much bigger than I am but I still want to be his friend. I don’t think he feels the same way because he runs away from me when I try to play with him. I’m just a baby who's ready to be your best friend. I can’t wait to learn everything you have to teach me and enjoy a lifetime of snuggles!
