My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gypsy Dawn is looking forward to her next chapter; She is a strong and healthy 3 year old Doberman who seeks companionship among humans and is attending play groups to help her warm up to doing big dog things. Gypsy is agreeable and gentle, avoiding conflict but will growl to ask for space with other big dogs. She weighed in at 75 lbs at her last vet visit.

She does not jump on people or bark, housetrained, crate trained and loves car rides.
Favorite Toy: NylaBone Wishbone
Favorite Snack: Chewy Meatballs
Favorite Color: Navy Blue

Doberman (black with rust markings) appears to be a purebred with a docked tail and naturally floppy ears. Dewormed, Vaccinated, Spayed, Microchipped and on prevention after heartworm treatment - she is ready to be someone's Valentine in 2025.

FOSTERED IN TEXAS.
*Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners.

HERstory: Found at a neighboring shelter severely underweight, a Doberman loving retiree adopted her. After ensuring she gained weight, started treatment for heartworms and got regular exercise; she became too big and strong for him to manage. Gypsy was named by her prior human and was loved - she lived with smaller dogs and is very gentle.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement: Volunteers Fueled by Caffeine and Compassion to help Care for Dogs in Today's Pet Crisis in Texas.

Our dogs come from at-risk shelters in TEXAS -focused on Fort Bend Co/Brazoria Co/Galveston Co/Harris Co., partnerships to help dogs in rural areas in South Texas and urgent Owner Surrenders due to loss or tragedy.

We are a small rescue and every things counts - every penny and each donation is a blessing. Most of the dogs require neuter, heartworm treatment and medications for various illness/injury before being cleared for adoption. Our dogs receive quality care in food, toys and hygiene while they recover and wait for forever homes.
