My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to meet the sweetest feline you’ll ever encounter, who is ready to spread some love into your life?

Meet Toast! Toast is a 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair/Mix. This big and beautiful girl may be larger than your average house cat, but her heart is even bigger. With a purr that’s as warm as freshly baked bread, she’s the perfect companion for those lazy mornings when you just want to brunch in bed. Toast enjoys lounging in sunbeams like butter on warm toast and will always bring a smile to your face with her delightful antics. If you’re ready to add some sweetness to your life, consider adopting Toast—because life is always “better with butter!”

We are not totally sure on the specifics of what Toast`s past life was, however it does seem like at one point she was an outdoor kitty as she has a `tipped/notched ear` which is indicative of her potentially once being a TNR cat. Toast has no interest in returning to that life, she wants a cushy life inside with snuggles and snacks!

Toast came in with 3 other cats that she previously lived with and does great with other cats. Toast may do well living in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed. Toast is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative.

If you think Toast could be the one for you, please fill out an adoption application on our website! For any additional information or questions, please contact the shelter at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com or (920) 279-9795!
