My name is Mordecai!

Hello! Mordecai is a 5-year-old mixed-breed dog. He is fully house-trained and great with kids (I have 4 living with me). He loves to lounge around the house and going out for walks! He gets a little nervous when he's in the car, but as long as there is someone there to comfort him, he's fine. He's a little goofy, but fun to be around and play with. He's a great family dog if you have a family and he also does well in a home without kids. I'm looking to rehome him to someone that can handle a high-energy dog, he may be 5 but he still acts as though he's 1. He does great with dogs that he is familiar with but gets overwhelmed in a larger group setting (i.e. dog parks). I'm moving across the country in the later half of next month, and I want to find him a new home before then so he doesn't end up back in a shelter.
