My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How Knick Knack arrived:
Knick Knack was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on 1/15/24.

Why Knick Knack is the one for you:
Knick Knack is a sweetheart eager to find his forever home! He walks beautifully on a leash, making him the perfect companion for leisurely strolls, and his love for treats makes training an absolute breeze. With his gentle nature and friendly disposition, Knick Knack is sure to win your heart in no time.
Knick Knack came into our care with his best friend, Colleen (#878173). They share an incredible bond and would love nothing more than to continue their journey together.
If you're ready for double the love and joy, Knick Knack (and Colleen!) are waiting to meet you!

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Knick Knack is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
