My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny, Cheeto and Ruby are siblings. Cheeto is a sweet, affectionate male kitten looking for his forever home. This little orange bundle of love is as laid-back as they come. He has a soft spot for belly rubs and will roll over to show off his fluffy tummy! Cheeto’s docile nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone seeking a calm and loving feline friend. He enjoys lounging by your side, soaking up attention, and purring his heart out. Whether you’re looking for a cuddle buddy during movie nights or a gentle companion to brighten your days, Cheeto is your guy. Cheeto is up to date on his vaccinations, litter-trained, and ready to fill your home with love. Don’t miss the chance to give this sweet kitten the forever home he deserves. If interested please fill out an application EHRcats.org.

More about this rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
