Wanted: A patient and understanding home with NO children and NO other animals. Don't let Lulu's cute little face and size fool you. We are unsure what trauma this little lady has been through, but she doesn't have a whole lot of trust in humans and she's not much of a fan of other animals. Lulu has been in her foster home for over a year and her foster has been working to earn her trust. Lulu is pee pad trained and is terrified of going outside. Lulu enjoys snuggling under the covers in her foster mom's lap in bed while they sleep or on the couch while they watch tv in the evenings. Lulu isn't a fan of crates, but is content to stay in a small room like a bedroom or bathroom while you are gone away from the house. She doesn't mind the occassional pet, but isn't a fan of lots of attention or being picked up. Lulu does resource guard when it comes to her food and her place in someone's lap. Lulu has been in a foster home with both cats and dogs and she's learned to tolerate the animals in her "pack," but has had issues with new foster animals coming into the home so we feel she will be the happiest in a home without other animals that she needs to compete with. Lulu is looking for a home where the people will give her the time to decompress and learn to trust. Applications with children under the age of 16 will not be considered.
