We adopted Bella after her original owner couldn’t take care of her. She was around 6 months at that time. We think she is just over a year old. She was in bad shape when we got (matted coat, not really potty trained). She has had basic training and is a sweet little dog. I think she would be better in a home with older children or adults. My son is not careful and she is so small we don’t want her to get hurt. She is also a bit skittish with loud noises and sudden moves—not sure why. She has been spayed. The hair around her eyes needs to be kept trimmed so as not to irritate her eyes—vet told us this. She has been getting better with potty training, but is not perfect. We have a puppy pad and grass mat that she does pretty good with when we keep a close eye on her and direct her and kennel her when we aren’t at home.
