Meet Pans: The Sweet and Playful Companion! Pans is an energetic and curious boy with a deep bond with his sister, Pots. These inseparable companions love to nap, groom, and play together and must be adopted as a bonded pair.
While Pans has grown to love affection, he’s initially shy and will need a patient adopter to help him feel safe and confident. With time, he’ll show his true personality. He is a loving kitty who enjoys curling up on your lap, rolling at your feet to ask for cuddles, and snuggling with you during the day.
Pans thrives in a calm home, especially with someone who works remotely, where he can be near his humans and even join you on your lap while you work. He adores pets and responds with deep purrs, but he can get overstimulated, so understanding his boundaries is key.
Though he’s okay with regular home sounds, Pans would do best in a quiet, child-free environment with no other pets (except Pots). With patience, love, and time to build his confidence, Pans will reward you with endless affection and companionship. Interview
Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

Meet the Pet
When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.
4.
Sign Adoption Contract
Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.
5.
Take the Pet Home
Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.
Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
