We would like to introduce you to STELLA, a 10 month old Plott Hound/Smooth Coat Collie mix who came to our pound as a stray. STELLA is the kind of dog who loves everyone. She is sweet, loving and very affectionate. She loves to give hugs and be hugged in return. She has tons of personality, learns quickly, and is very treat motivated. She came to us as a stray with no training at all. We enrolled her in the Cell Dog Training Program at the Belmont Correctional Institution because she didn't have much, if any, training.She hasn't been in the program very long, but her handler said she is one fast learner and is making huge progress. We are accepting applications for STELLA so that when she is ready to graduate from the program, she can join a family immediately. A meetngreet can be arranged while she is training for an approved adopter. If you are looking for a best friend, check out STELLA.
