Bella is a female red with white Jack Russell Terrier. She is 5 years old and she weighs about 12 pounds. Bella is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. Bella is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Bella is ready for adoption.
Bella was returned to rescue 3 years after adoption because she was not getting along with another dog in the home. Bella is hit or miss with dogs and always dislikes cats, so she would prefer a home where she is the only pet. However she is very loyal and loving with people and doesn’t mind several people or an active social life with new people coming and going. Bella is a Jack Russell with all that implies, so some familiarity with the breed is a plus. She would be one to watch so she doesn’t dart the door or the car, and she will find a way out of the fence if left out too long. Outside for potty breaks or family time only. Bella would love to ride along in the car, go to the store, etc. She walks on a leash but she pulls, so a no-pull style harness might be helpful. Bella is crate trained and potty trained with adequate potty breaks. Bella is just the prettiest girl and appears to be purebred or darn close.

Puppies under 4 months old are vaccinated and dewormed several times, with a spay/neuter contract required for adoption. The vetting of an adult dog includes spay/neuter, vaccinations including rabies, and heartworm testing. Dental work and treatment of heartworms, cherry eye, mange, parvo exposure and broken limbs are some examples of what is done to save lives. Shot and medical records come with the dog upon adoption and include the last date heartworm prevention was administered.
