My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudy is being returned to our rescue and needs a foster home ASAP! Well update his adoption profile to include more info by 1/25/25. Rudy was originally part of our 2023 Christmas Litter (fka Rudolph). A foster home with no pets and/or one that can allow him to decompress by himself for 7-14 days would be most ideal. Rudy gets along with some dogs, but is timid by nature. Lowkey dogs are probably the best match for him. He seems to have some prey drive; He has lived with cats and can co-exist but sometimes chases them. Rudy cannot live around chickens. DNA results from a littermate: www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/9l6d2xs Apply to foster Rudy here: savedbyfate.org/foster We offer discounts for foster-to-adopt. Rudy is eligible for this option! Questions? Feel free to reach out at adoptions@savedbyfate.org. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
