Amber is a 3-month-old female Heeler/Shepherd mix with a sweet and gentle personality. She’s full of puppy energy and loves to play, explore, and cuddle. Amber is intelligent and eager to learn, making her a great candidate for training and bonding with her new family. She gets along well with people and other pets, making her a wonderful addition to any home. Amber is looking for a loving forever family to grow up with and share her love.

Our adoption requirements are as follows:

We encourage that all members of the family come and visit with the animal (especially children). We do not adopt pets as gifts.

Homes that currently own one or more dogs and are looking for another will have to complete a dog meeting to ascertain compatibility.

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
