Urgent Foster Needed for Sweet Senior Dog - Prudence

I’m moving overseas on January 28, and I need help caring for my dog, Prudence, until I can arrange her relocation. Unfortunately, my new apartment does not allow dogs, and the person who had agreed to take her can no longer do so.

Prudence is a lovely, gentle dog with a lot of heart despite some health challenges. She had her right front leg amputated about five years ago due to cancer, and she now has a new tumor on her right rump that can’t be removed. Thankfully, she is not in any pain and has a calm, low-maintenance routine.

Prudence is a quiet, affectionate dog who loves to sleep next to you and is content with short walks around the neighborhood.

Health: No medications needed. She is in stable health despite her physical limitations.

Behavior: Prudence is very patient with children (I’ve had my niece and nephew, ages 4 and 8, interact with her) and she’s great with cats. She loves company and is fine with gentle pets from little ones.

Special Needs: Prudence's three legs make her more prone to falling, but she’s a trooper. She has some difficulty with balance but otherwise leads a peaceful life.

What Prudence Needs:

* Someone who can provide a safe and quiet environment, ideally with no other high-energy pets.
* A foster home where she can continue her calm routine of eating, resting, and taking short walks.

If you’re interested in fostering Prudence or have any questions, please contact me at: grantdittmer@yahoo.com or 858-882-7471.

Thank you so much for considering giving her a safe, loving place to stay.

*Frosted Faces Foundation has not assessed this dog medically or behaviorally.*
