My name is Bexar!

Bexar is an active and loyal dog who loves to spend time with his people. He is quite athletic and would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can run and jump. He is great on walks with a gentle leader and does well with car rides. He loves to receive pets and scratches and is very food-motivated.

He is fully housetrained and knows how to follow simple commands like sit, stay and come. He is currently in a home with small children, but prefers to be the center of attention.

He is the only dog in the home but consistently plays well with other dogs in a variety of settings. He has not been around cats while living with his current owners, so caution should be taken if cats are in the home.

Bexar was adopted from a rescue organization before his current owners had children. They recently added a child with special needs into their home and he is struggling with not receiving the amount of attention that he should have so a new, loving family is being sought for him.
