My name is Chewy!

When I got Chewy I was told he was a chihuahua puppy and shown pictures that looked like he was. He was same size as my 12 year Chihuahua that only weighs 4-5lbs. But now that he is 9 months old he weighs around 20 lbs. and he want to sort of tends walk all over my tiny baby. I wanted him because he needed a home and as my dog has gotten older I realized she is not always boing to be here. At one time my wife and I had 9 dogs when she passed away over two years ago we had 5 at that time and I surrendered 2 to a shelter because I felt they might be better off with someone else younger and maybe with kids. I am 76 years old now and don't do what I used to. I have a son who lives with me but he complains and complains about having to help take care of them.

Warning Chewy sleeps with me and he loves to snuggle and give you love. I haven't been able to take him to the vet because I have another older dog with heart failure and the meds she needs cost so much.
