My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Silky and I totally live up to my name! I’m so soft to touch and so sweet. My sister Smokey and I lived with a very nice lady who took great care of us, but she crossed over the human rainbow bridge. We ended up being taken in by the folks at Paws Patrol. I’ve been with Smokey all my life and would sure like to stay with her. She’s on the shy side but every bit as soft as I am! I’ll bet if you meet us, you’d be smitten! Not only do we both have wonderful fur, we also have beautiful and soulful eyes. All we need is a new family of our very own. Are you willing to open your heart to us?

Go meet their pets

Our shelter is at 750 West Camino Casa Verde in Green Valley, AZ and we are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 2pm. We also have cats at Petco in Sahuarita Thursday through Sunday and a volunteer is available at the store on weekends 11am to 2pm. If you need to schedule a different time to see our available cats, please call the office and generally we can make arrangements.

More about this rescue

We started in 2006 specifically to Trap/Neuter/Return feral cats in our communities in an effort to humanely reduce the outdoor cat population. At the time, we were home based. In 2015, we opened a small shelter. Although our primary mission is still TNR, we take in outdoor cats and kittens who are adoptable as we have room. Our goal is to reduce the number of cats outside, feral, stray and loosely owned and help keep them and our communities safe. We have no paid staff and about 30 volunteers work in our program.
